The Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province, the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission, and the People's Government of Bao'an District served as guiding units, and the Shenzhen International Talent Exchange Center served as the organizing unit. Approximately 50 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and more than 19,000 scientific and technological workers in the field of materials participated in the conference, including over 1,500 national outstanding talents.

Yu Bin delivered an academic report with the theme of "Self-supporting nanoporous copper film with high porosity and broadband light absorption for efficient solar steam generation" at the conference, and answered questions from relevant scholars.
